#a2n_camp day 1: Unconvention Factory "How to make an album"
03.11.2011

Workshop: How to make an album
Thursday, November 3rd, Kater Holzig
On November 3rd, Unconvention Factory will transform the KaterHolzig gallery into a studio where the entire process of the production of an album and the subsequent release will be done in public in just one day.
This will include recording and mastering, cover and poster design and the development of a corresponding website with digital download. Musicians, designers, programmers and other interested parties are invited to attend, ask questions at each stage of the process and to participate.
Subject of the album will be: The Soundtrack of a Berlin club night.
It is to consist of barsounds to set the mood, followed by beats, dance and ecstasy to the after-hour and conclusion.
Musicians are invited to pick a phase and create a track and comunicate with others to let the album benefit as a whole. All tracks are to be performed live, recorded and made digitally (MP3) available. Sound professionals, producers and artwork designers will supervise the project.
As the focus of the Berlin Music Days and the #a2n_camps is on electronic music, we do particularly look forward to electronic sounds, but are also open to everything else.
All those interested must have registered by October 18th at factory@all2gethernow.de.
Please send us a link to your music (if available) or some information about your person and include a few words why you want to take part in this Unconvention Factory project.
